About Dr. Laos

Arthur P. Laos, DDS, at Volterra Dental in Los Alamitos, California, is a Southern California native and the quintessential dentist who truly believes that when you transform a smile, you transform a life. After graduating from Stanford University, he began his journey to a career in dentistry at the University of Southern California, where he earned a doctor of dental surgery degree. He opened his practice two years later.

Dr. Laos, or “Art” as many of his patients call him, enjoys the camaraderie of his team and how they and his patients motivate him each day. In his time away from the office, Dr. Laos likes road biking and an occasional 100-mile century ride, as well as taking dancing lessons and working out. Of course, taking in a Rams game or cheering for his alma maters USC and Stanford are always at the top of his list of fun activities.

Dr. Laos enjoys spending time with his best friend and wife for the past 42 years and their 30-year-old son and a 28-year-old daughter. Despite his many responsibilities, Dr. Laos finds time to give back to the community. He is active with several charities, including World Vision and B.R.A.I.N. (Brain Rehabilitation and Injury Network).

About Dr. Fukui

Alice Reina Fukui, DDS, brings her dental expertise and experience as the newest addition to Volterra Dental in Los Alamitos, California. With more than six years as a private dental hygienist and just over two years as a dentist, Dr. Fukui brings the latest in dental technology and trends to Volterra Dental.

Dr. Fukui earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene at the University of Southern California, later completing her studies there as a doctor of dental surgery. She wasted no time in continuing her education, earning an IV Conscious Sedation License, certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, a Drug Enforcement Administration license, and approval as an Invisalign® provider.

Dr. Alice Fukui | Los Alamitos Dentist Highly respected in the dental community, Dr. Fukui holds memberships in several esteemed dental associations, including the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Fukui, who is fluent in English and Japanese, offers her extensive knowledge and cheery demeanor to bring you the best care possible.
